2009 ECW Board Members

Dear Sisters in Christ, and fellow men in Christ,

As your new ECW president, it is a challenge to adapt to our times and learn how to reach out to the women of Wyoming.   How do we get your attention, how do we feed you while spreading the Gospel and at the same time feed ourselves?   How do we make this your organization and have you as committed to it as we are?

We have a wonderful speaker in Jenifer Gamber, coming from Pennsylvania for this year's conference, who I believe will speak to all of us, young and old alike.   I'm hoping you're all willing to come and grow with us. My promise is that I'm open to listen to new ideas and will discuss any changes to keep the hopes and dreams of ECW alive.

In my own life the changes have been huge.   On March 7 of this year I became a priest, and serve at the parish of All Souls, Kaycee.   Thinking back on the journey I've taken, it's has been a long road but a fulfilling one, and one that has just begun. I also know that God has a sense of humor!   If you had known me 30 years ago when I first came to this country from England, married to a cowboy, my life was filled with horses. Now I have six kids ranging in age from 27 to 15: five boys and one girl, the girl being the youngest.   I find my life still filled with horses that I use in ministry with the youth. You can see that God has a purpose for my life that I still wonder about.

So come be a part of the body.   Come share your journey with us at the ECW conference on April 18, 19 and 20. Come learn and grow with us.

                                             In His Name, God Bless,

                                             Carole Buckingham
